Going back to the basics of my blog and beauty related things I wanted to talk a little bit about artists in this field and how they produce their content. Makeup has transformed from a simple glam look to completely transforming your face. One of my favorite youtubers, Dope2111, is very famous for changing her face completely using a combination of makeup and prosthetics. In fact, she was a huge inspiration for many other artists on youtube to do similar transformations.
Youtube is a big platform where a lot of artists start building their following to share their work. A lot of work goes into creating content for others all over the world to enjoy. Not only does the content creator have to come up with a concept for the video, but they have to produce it, record it, and finally edit the video to a reasonable time. Throughout the years many of the creators on youtube have kind of created a brand for themselves, whether it be the way the introduce themselves in the beginning or the kind of content they create. One thing that most viewers enjoy the most about the videos that a being made are the editing style that is shared throughout YouTube. This past year in face, there has been a lot of drama in the YouTube community regarding editing styles. Over the past year two up and coming YouTube stars have been taking the scene and displaying content on YouTube. Antonio Garza and Emma Chamberlain are two popular artists on YouTube, and drama between the fans started because of their similar editing styles. A lot of people claim that Emma, along with many other artists stole Antonios editing style. There was a big problem with it, but why is it such a big deal? In my opinion I feel like a person can always learn something new. That’s how practically anything in society works, if i see someone out in public wearing a nice shirt, I ask them where they got it so I can maybe go and purchase one for myself. It is almost the same thing. The problem arises when a person take credit for the work of someone else. When I sit down to try new makeup looks, the first thing i do is go onto Pintrest and search around for some inspiration, there is nothing wrong with looking for a little help.
