Hacking

While having technology is great in todays time it can be very dangerous for some people due to hackers. Hacking is identifying weakness in computer systems or networks to exploit its weaknesses to gain access. When a system is hacked the hacker has access to all of the personal information that is embedded within it, which can be dangerous for anyone involved with the platform.

There are two kinds of hackers, good ones and bad ones. It is almost an opinion on which is which. “Bad” hackers, are the ones who hack into systems to do damage, and exploit others. “Good” hackers are the ones that hack systems to maybe see how to advance the system and spot out the weaknesses within it. Although imagine a case where a person hacks a system to expose a scam that is being ran, are they a good or bad hacker? Some hacking that is done is harmless. Like when people misuse a particular platform, usually it is harmless and meant for comedic purposes. For example, over using your Facebook page, this could be considered hacking because facebook isn’t meant to be updated every 2 minutes yet some people use it that way. Another popular example is this piece done by Keith Obadike called Blackness for Sale. He uses popular bidding site Ebay, to sell “blackness” misusing this website and providing satire helps to deliver a bigger message. Anyone can get creative when it comes to hacking.
